160 years ago, the YMCA of Central Kentucky planted the seeds of our community. Now, we grow stronger together.

We are a nonprofit organization that believes everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, should have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive with us at the Y. That’s why we offer our “Open Doors” financial assistance program that ensures no one is turned away for economic reasons. We are a powerful advocate for the community, because we are the community.

Each year, through our Annual Giving Campaign, 100% of your donation directly supports financial assistance and program subsidies for your friends and neighbors.

Every dollar you donate makes a big impact! Last year, with the help of your donations, the YMCA of Central Kentucky invested over $1.4 million in financial assistance into our Central Kentucky communities through programs such as: YMCA Diabetes Prevention, LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA, Bar Y Camp, Y Afterschool, Martial Arts, YMCA Black Achievers and so much more.

Here are some ways your donation can help provide opportunities for everyone:

$500 can give: a youth sports team an entire season to build confidence, teamwork and healthy habits

$250 can give: one cancer survivor strength and wellbeing with our LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program

$100 can give: a kid one week of summer camp, creating life-changing experiences

$50 can give: one session of swim lessons, ensuring a lifetime of fun and safety in the water
