Active Older Adults

HEALTHY HABITS
LAST A
LIFETIME

To bring about meaningful change, individuals need ongoing encouragement. We’re here day in and day out to provide the resources needed by our communities to address the most pressing social issues – from childhood obesity to graduation rates. Through the support of our community, we empower every child, adult and family to achieve to be healthy, confident and connected.

It's never too late to get started on developing or maintaining a healthy spirity, mind and body. The Y offers a variety of programs and classes designed specifically for the needs and enjoyment of our active older adults. These programs include group exercise appropriate for varying fitness levels as well as SilverSneakers programs. We also have social events such as luncheons, games and guest speakers to help seniors get connected to others in the community and gain exposure to other senior-oriented community services and programs.
